A Toronto native artist on the rise and a student in the art of poetics. Known for proudly representing his hometown of Rexdale, Thelonious is recognized by his listeners for his polished lyricism, introspective storytelling and captivating delivery. With both his parents coming from a professional jazz & gospel background, he was exposed to the varying cultures of music in his youth, eventually blossoming into his own love for creating. Thelonious’ music combines the unapologetic nature of the 90’s Boom-Bap era, served with all the vulnerabilities of the new school and subtle complexities of jazz and soul.
